Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks a wastewater technician/operator to monitor and treat wastewater in a manufacturing setting. You will collect samples, run tests, read blueprints, and troubleshoot pumps to maintain process efficiency.

A valid wastewater certification is required, with 1–2 years of related manufacturing experience preferred. Responsibilities include operating plating-line equipment, maintaining safety, and communicating with the Cell Lead on drawing or BOM issues.

Qualifications

• High School diploma / GED or equivalent preferred.
• Wastewater technician or operator certification required.
• 1-2 years of prior manufacturing and machine operator experience desired.
• Read and understand blueprints/drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of equipment such as air and power tools, rulers, gauges, micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to identify quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, adjust, treat and process wastewater systems to optimize the production process.
• Collect and sample wastewater to ensure environmental standards are met.
• Inspect and troubleshoot pumps and systems; repair or replace as needed.
• Run daily tests of utilities and log results.
• Read BOMs and blueprints and communicate discrepancies to Cell Lead.
• Operate forklift/walk-behind and manage equipment in the plating line.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow safety rules.
