Job summary

Lindentx is seeking a wastewater operations technician to manage the wastewater system and operate light to heavy equipment. The role requires knowledge of wastewater principles, safe operation of machinery, and timely completion of duties within budget and policy guidelines.

Responsibilities include maintaining systems, reading meters, responding to emergencies, and coordinating with staff and other departments. A valid TX driver's license and compliance with pre-employment checks are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent with 1 year of related experience or training in water/wastewater line repair.
• TCEQ Collection I-Sewer certificate or equivalent is required.
• May be required to obtain a TCEQ Class C distribution certificate.
• Pre-employment drug screening, and physical and criminal background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain wastewater systems as required.
• Operate equipment such as backhoes, loaders, paving machines, and other construction tools.
• Operate various trucks for hauling and distribution of materials.
• Assist in traffic control and work-site safety measures.
• Schedule excavation of utility cuts and respond to emergencies after hours.
• Maintain operational records and read meters as necessary.
• Support other departments as needed with field tasks.
• Adhere to city policies, safety rules, and budget constraints.
