El Dorado Irrigation District seeks a Collection System Supervisor to plan, direct, and supervise the operation and maintenance of the District’s wastewater collection system. This is a rare leadership opportunity within a long‑standing public utility on the western slope.

Reporting to the Wastewater/Recycled Water Manager, you will lead hands‑on crews, oversee lift stations and pipelines, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with other departments and outside agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating and maintaining a complex wastewater collection system.
• Supervision and performance evaluation skills.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws applicable to wastewater operations.

Responsabilités

• Plan, direct, and supervise operation and maintenance of the wastewater collection system.
• Oversee lift stations, pipelines, and related facilities, including repair and inspections.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with other districts and agencies.
• Prepare budgets, cost estimates, and monitor expenditures.
• Provide staff training and performance evaluations.
• Respond to customer inquiries and maintain public relations.
• Assist with development of technical operational reports.
