• Lead day-to-day operations of multiple wastewater treatment plants and collection systems
• Manage, mentor, and develop operators and field personnel
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal environmental regulations
• Monitor treatment processes, system performance, and operational efficiency
• Oversee lift stations, force mains, gravity sewer systems, and related infrastructure
• Manage operating budgets, maintenance programs, chemical inventories, and resource allocation
• Support capital improvement projects, facility upgrades, and expansion initiatives
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, regulators, and executive leadership
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure emergency response preparedness
• Serve as the primary technical resource for operational and process-related challenges

Qualifications

• 10+ years of wastewater operations experience
• Leadership experience within treatment plant or utility operations
• Active Texas Wastewater Operator License (Class B or higher preferred)
• Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and regulatory compliance
• Experience with SCADA systems, instrumentation, controls, and maintenance programs
• Proven ability to lead teams and solve complex operational issues
• Collection system and utility operations experience preferred
