Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, biological, or agricultural engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• FE exam passed and actively working toward PE licensure.
• Experience in the design of wastewater systems.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and GIS software.
• Ability to use modeling software such as HEC-RAS, InfoWorks, GPS-X, or PCSWMM.
• Knowledge of EPA, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam. Strong critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and development of wastewater collection and treatment infrastructure, including rehabilitation and new construction.
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Apply engineering principles related to hydraulics, pipeline networks, and wastewater treatment systems.
• Conduct field investigations and site visits.
• Assist with technical reports, cost estimates, project documentation, and construction administration.
• Participate in project meetings, client discussions, and proposal efforts.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and take ownership of assigned tasks from planning through design.
• Build trusted relationships with project teams and clients.
