Kennedy Jenks Consultants is seeking a motivated Wastewater Process Engineer to join our California Wastewater Infrastructure team. You will support municipal wastewater treatment planning, design, and delivery, with projects locally and nationally.

We value candidates with 5+ years of experience, a Bachelor's or Master's in engineering, and an EIT certification; a California PE is preferred or achievable. This hybrid role offers collaboration across disciplines and a focus on sustainable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related engineering field.
• 5+ years of relevant municipal wastewater experience.
• Familiarity with wastewater treatment processes, regulations, technologies, and reporting.
• EIT certification required; California PE preferred or achievable.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and Kennedy Jenks offices.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and delivery of municipal wastewater projects.
• Contribute to facility upgrades, capacity analyses, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare technical deliverables, calculations, drawings, and design reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
• Mentor junior staff and stay current on industry standards.
