Job summary
Kennedy Jenks is seeking a motivated Wastewater Process Engineer to join our California Wastewater Infrastructure team. You will support planning, design, and delivery of municipal wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects locally and nationally.
The role requires 5+ years of municipal wastewater experience, EIT, and CA PE preferred or eligible. We offer a hybrid work model with two days in the office, collaborative multi-disciplinary teams, and growth opportunities in technical
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related engineering field.
- 5+ years of municipal wastewater treatment engineering or related projects.
- Familiarity with wastewater treatment processes, regulations, technologies, and design.
- EIT certification required; CA PE license preferred or able to obtain.
- Willingness to travel for project sites and meetings.
Responsibilities
- Support feasibility studies, facility planning, treatment plant upgrades, expansions, and related municipal wastewater projects.
- Develop and evaluate physical, chemical, and biological treatment systems and analyses.
- Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, design reports, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, process leads, regulatory agencies, and clients to support technical discussions and permitting.
