Job summary

Kennedy Jenks is seeking a Wastewater Process Engineer to join our California Wastewater Infrastructure team. This role supports municipal wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects locally and nationally, including planning, design, upgrades, optimization, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related engineering, 5+ years of municipal wastewater experience, and an EIT certification; California PE preferred or

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design, and delivery of municipal wastewater treatment and infrastructure solutions.
• Contribute to feasibility studies, facility planning, upgrades, expansions, pump stations, and collection system improvements.
• Develop and evaluate treatment systems including capacity, performance, and regulatory analyses.
• Prepare technical deliverables like calculations, drawings, specifications, and design reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, leads, multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulators.
