Job summary

Pima County's Regional Wastewater Reclamation department is seeking an Instrumentation Process Control Supervisor to lead a team, drive automation projects, and ensure reliable operation of SCADA, PLCs, and related instrumentation in the wastewater facilities.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electronics technology or related field, 3+ years in process control with supervisory experience, proficiency in Python, C++, ladder logic, and familiarity with Wonderware/Ignition and Rockwell

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electronics technology, instrumentation and process control.
Three years of experience in repair, programming or maintenance of process control systems.
Experience leading or supervising a team is preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervises maintenance, installation, calibration, and repair of instrumentation and SCADA systems.
Develops PLC programs and operator displays; reviews engineering drawings and specs.
Ensures optimal operation of wastewater treatment facilities and equipment.
Documents work performed and supports continuous improvement efforts.
