Pima County's Regional Wastewater Reclamation department seeks an Instrumentation Process Control Coordinator I. This hands-on role installs, maintains, and troubleshoots instrumentation, PLCs, analyzers, and process control equipment critical to plant operations.

• Associate’s Degree in electronics technology instrumentation and process control or closely related field; two years of experience in installation, calibration and maintenance of field instrumentation and/or process control loops.
• Experience with PLC operation, networking, and troubleshooting preferred.
• Licenses/certifications may be required as determined by the department head.

Responsabilidades

• Installs, calibrates, maintains, and repairs electronic instruments, sensors, flow meters, pressure transducers, and other field devices.
• Maintains and troubleshoots PLCs, HMIs, and automated process control systems to ensure seamless operation.
• Conducts diagnostics and data analysis to identify trends, optimize performance, and troubleshoot system inefficiencies.
• Maintains communication networks, including radio and wireless systems, for remote process monitoring and control.
• Develops and executes preventative and predictive maintenance programs for process control equipment and instrumentation.
• Ensures compliance with safety protocols, operational standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintains detailed records of maintenance activities, configurations, and system modifications.
• Collaborates with engineers, operators, and technicians to support system upgrades and process improvements.
