Brown and Caldwell is seeking a Wastewater Area Practice Leader (APL) for the Central Area (Colorado, Utah and Texas). This role focuses on strategy, business development, and leadership to advance the wastewater practice across multiple states.

The APL will shape priorities, recruit, and drive innovation while collaborating with regional and national teams to deliver high‑impact engineering solutions and strong client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Typically 15+ years in progressively responsible roles including leadership in engineering, operations, or business.
• Experience in environmental consulting, engineering, construction and operations.
• Experience developing and executing growth strategies with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic growth plan for the Wastewater Practice within the Central Area with multi-year milestones.
• Provide technical leadership across wastewater treatment, conveyance, and related areas.
• Align priorities with Area Leaders and Market Sector Directors; drive client success and profitability.
