Job summary

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, up to 2 years in water/wastewater, strong reading/math/verbal skills, mechanical aptitude, and CMMS/Windows/Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 2 years experience in water/wastewater industry.
• Strong reading, math, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read, interpret data from meters, gauges, panels.
• Computer skills with Windows/Office and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day operation and maintenance of wastewater infrastructure including SBR treatment facility, collections system, and lift stations.
• Carry out routine cleaning and housekeeping in plant areas.
• Understand and execute written/verbal work orders and assignments.
• Collect water quality samples, test, and maintain records.
• Maintain safety and follow EH&S procedures; respond to emergencies and on-call duties.
• Complete operational and maintenance documents and records.
