Job summary

The City of Corinth seeks a Wastewater Operations Supervisor to oversee construction, installation, maintenance and repair of the wastewater collection system including pumps, pipes and lift stations. Under general supervision, you will supervise Crew Leaders, prioritize projects, monitor SCADA data, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and maintain accurate logs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5 years water/wastewater utilities maintenance experience.
• 3 years supervisory experience, preferably with the City of Corinth.
• Possess valid Texas CDL with air brake endorsement or obtain within 12 months.
• TCEQ Class C Water, Wastewater Collections 2 Operator and BPAT licenses or obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise wastewater operations and crews to meet goals and timelines.
• Monitor SCADA gauges, telemetry and control panels; log readings.
• Plan and prioritize projects; allocate equipment, materials, and staff.
• Review work orders and assign tasks; ensure quality and safety.
• Train staff and conduct performance evaluations; maintain logs.
• Respond to emergencies and make first responder determinations.
• Use CMMS to input daily work orders; ensure compliance with safety rules.
