Responsibilities

• Perform operational maintenance on all water treatment systems.
• Keep daily operational records.
• Provide a safe working environment and ensure safety equipment and tools for assigned tasks.
• Analyze operational data to determine changes and improvements needed to accomplish objectives.
• Ensure wastewater samples are correctly collected and sent to the lab to determine permit compliance.
• Oversee the operation of pre-treatment equipment.
• Ensure proper operation of rendering and Offal equipment.
• Schedule trailers needed from Valley Protein.
• Ensure that all employees work in a safe manner.
• Maintain the Morganton Offal Trailer Log daily.
• Perform a daily safety walk-through.
• Provide guidance and leadership to all department personnel on shift.
• Manage operational efficiencies for your shift.
