Job summary

HDR is a leading employee-owned firm delivering water and environmental solutions. The WTEM Business Class Director provides direction for wastewater treatment and effluent management programs, coordinating cross-functional teams across markets and regions to deliver high-impact projects.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering/architecture, 10+ years of leadership experience, and active professional registration. Travel up to 50% is expected as HDR serves clients nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
• Professional registration in Architecture/Engineering for core technical design roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Build relationships and coordinate with related business classes, market sectors and operations.
• Lead technical risk management through reviews and advisory services.
• Drive quality assurance and control processes with the Quality Manager.
• Oversee development and application of technical tools, standards and techniques.
