Job summary

HDR is seeking a WTEM Business Class Director to lead the wastewater and effluent management practice, overseeing technical leadership, risk management, client relations, and cross-disciplinary program delivery across HDR's Water Business Group.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field, 10+ years of leadership experience, and professional registration. Travel up to 50% is expected; location is flexible within HDR's U.S. footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
• Professional registration for leadership roles in technical design preferred.
• Experience developing and managing diverse teams.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other HDR leaders on cross-functional efforts.
• Commitment to quality, HDR values and employee ownership culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Coordinate with related business classes, market sectors and operations.
• Lead technical risk management through reviews and advisory services.
• Drive QA/QC processes and coordinate with Quality Manager.
• Oversee development and application of tools, standards and techniques.
