Job summary

King County Wastewater Treatment Division is seeking a Wastewater Construction Manager II to oversee conveyance inspection and related field activities, contributing to safe, compliant and efficient asset management across 400+ miles of pipelines.

You will collaborate with multiple KC groups and private partners, ensuring timely inspections, data collection, reporting, and project coordination in a dynamic, equity-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HS2 inspections and monitoring.
• Demonstrated ability to use spreadsheets for tracking and planning.
• Ability to read schedules, drawings, specifications, and data reports; ability to develop reports.
• Excellent communication, safety and quality focus.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support Sewer System Inspection, Cleaning and Repair Program: inspect pipelines, supervise cleaning, report maintenance needs.
• Maintenance Hole Inspection and Repair: locate MHs, inspect/repair, document site visits.
• H2S Inspection, Testing and Monitoring: collect samples, analyze data, QA/QC, update SOPs.
• Support External Corrosion (Cathodic Protection) Program: review drawings, locate CP assets, assist with SOPs and repairs.
