Job summary

King County WTD is seeking a strategic Conveyance Program Manager / Infrastructure Coordinator to drive multi‑million-dollar wastewater conveyance projects from pre-design through activation and hand-off. As SME, you will bridge planning and operations, coordinate with engineering and frontline staff, and influence sequencing to ensure reliable system performance.

You will participate in long-range facility planning, review complex designs, and ensure all requirements are met before completion.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work with diverse project stakeholders and multi-disciplinary staff.
• Experience with wastewater utilities, public works, infrastructure, design, construction, project control systems, mechanical systems, and/or asset replacement.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including facilitation, reports, and presentations.
• Skilled in streamlining processes and achieving stakeholder buy-in.
• Develop interpersonal relationships and instill trust.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and database management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Conveyance SME on core program teams, bridging engineering/delivery and frontline staff.
• Participate in long-range facilities planning; advise on sequencing and uninterrupted operations during construction.
• Review plans, designs, and procedures for capital and ongoing projects.
• Work with stakeholders from inception to ensure requirements and criteria are met prior to completion.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and transform silos into partnerships.
• Examine workflows for asset transitions into the capital program and identify bottlenecks.
