King County is hiring a Wastewater Construction Manager II to inspect, test, monitor, and maintain conveyance facilities, including 400+ miles of pipelines. The role supports multiple county groups and collaborates with private industry.

The position offers King County benefits and requires hybrid work with an onsite primary location at the South Treatment Plant, Renton, WA. Applicants must reside in WA and engage in field and office tasks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HS2 inspections and monitoring.
• Demonstrated experience in using spreadsheets for tracking and planning purposes.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret schedules, drawings, specifications, and data reports.
• Ability to perform work accurately with strong safety and quality awareness.
• Knowledge of Cathodic Protection systems.
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and handle shifting priorities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; multitask effectively.
• Proficient with computers and standard software.

Responsibilities

• Support Sewer System Inspection, Cleaning and Repair programs including inspections, cleaning, and documenting daily site visits.
• Inspect and repair Maintenance Holes; manage MH related documentation and data folders.
• Perform H2S corrosion inspections and collect samples for analysis; update SOPs and maintain equipment.
• Assist with External Cathodic Protection program, update CP assets in databases, support SOP updates.
