Job summary

King County's Wastewater Treatment Division seeks a Conveyance Program Manager / Infrastructure Coordinator to serve as the system operations SME and to connect planning, delivery, and frontline staff across multi-million-dollar projects.

You will guide sequencing, ensure reliable integration of assets from pre-design through testing, activation, and hand-off, and support long-range facilities planning. Hybrid work model with primary onsite location in Renton, WA.

Qualifications

• Experience with wastewater utilities, public works, infrastructure, design, construction, and asset management.
• Excellent oral and written communication and ability to facilitate group discussions.
• Strong process improvement skills and stakeholder buy-in.
• Proven ability to build cross-functional trust and collaboration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and database management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Conveyance SME on core program teams bridging engineering and frontline staff.
• Contribute to long-range facilities planning and sequencing to minimize operation disruption.
• Review plans, designs, and procedures for capital and ongoing projects.
• Coordinate with stakeholders from inception to ensure requirements and criteria are met.
• Foster cross-functional communication and transform silos into collaborative partnerships.
• Assess workflows for asset transitions into the capital program and remove bottlenecks.
