Qualifications

• Completion of the twelfth grade, or its equivalent.
• Two years general maintenance and construction experience
• Valid California Class "C" Driver's License
• Must have a satisfactory driving record and continue to meet District vehicle liability insurance company driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Participate in inspecting, cleaning, maintaining, constructing, and repairing wastewater collection systems using various equipment.
• Perform heavy manual tasks with assistive tools and equipment as needed.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain proper collection system operation using CCTV, smoke/dye testing, and related procedures.
• Plan routine traffic control at work sites and perform non-routine controls under supervision.
• Respond to service calls or complaints concerning sewer odors, trouble, and backups.
