The Novato Sanitary District is seeking a Collection System Superintendent to oversee the wastewater collection system and recycled water distribution, coordinating maintenance and supervising crews while ensuring regulatory compliance and water quality. Qualifications

• Possess CWEA Grade IV Collections System Maintenance certificate.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Experience leading field crews.
• Knowledge of wastewater collection systems and safety.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a medical examination and fitness test.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day operation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of the wastewater collection system and recycled water distribution system.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise maintenance activities and work crews.
• Ensure water quality, safe work practices, and accurate work records.
• Serve as a technical resource for assigned crews and support system performance improvements.
• Respond to after-hours calls as needed.
