The City of Tracy seeks a strategic Wastewater Operations Superintendent to lead the wastewater treatment plant, SCADA, and regulatory compliance, overseeing budgets, CIP, contracts, and priorities.

The role requires a SWRCB Grade V certification or equivalent, an associate degree, and at least six years of increasingly responsible experience including two in supervision; the incumbent will collaborate with regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver safe, reliable wastewater

Competenze

• Requires an associate degree or equivalent in wastewater-related field.
• Six years of increasingly responsible wastewater operations experience, with at least two years supervisory experience.
• Possession of California SWRCB Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Grade V certification or ability to obtain it.

Mansioni

• Plan, organize, and manage daily wastewater treatment plant operations.
• Oversee budgeting, CIP projects, and contract administration.
• Ensure compliance with Federal/State laws and City policies.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and consultants.
• Supervise staff, provide training, and evaluate performance.
• Prepare staff reports and present to City Council or commissions.
