Job summary

Waste Pro USA is seeking an Transfer Station Equipment Operator to safely operate heavy equipment at a transfer station. The role includes loading, spreading, covering, and compacting waste while maintaining a clean, organized site.

Responsibilities include adhering to safety policies, reporting malfunctions, and participating in required training. OSHA-regulated site experience is valued, with prior heavy equipment operation preferred.

Qualifications

• Must understand proper procedures for operating transfer station equipment.
• Ability to anticipate tasks and manage workflow in a busy plant.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate designated equipment at the transfer station.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment inside and outside the facility.
• Process loading, transport, and storage of commodities efficiently.
• Observe and report potential malfunctions or sub-standard service.
• Attend corporation-sponsored training courses as assigned.
