Job summary

Waste Pro USA is seeking a Transfer Station Equipment Operator to safely operate heavy equipment at a transfer station, handling transfer, spreading, covering, loading and compacting waste. Duties include maintaining cleanliness, managing lighting and ventilation, and ensuring efficient material flow.

The role requires understanding equipment procedures, ability to work independently or as part of a team, and compliance with OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of related heavy equipment operation experience preferred.
• One year of experience at sites regulated by OSHA or OSHA-compliant environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate transfer station equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Monitor lighting, dust control, and ventilation as part of daily plant duties.
• Ensure proper loading, transport, storage, and disposal of materials.
• Identify and report potential malfunctions or disruptions in plant activities.
• Attend required training courses as assigned.
