Bechtel is seeking a Waste Systems CSU Engineer in New Albany, OH. You will assist with commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting waste collection and treatment systems for a semiconductor manufacturing facility, under senior engineers, with on-the-job training and mentoring.

The role emphasizes reading design documents, supporting safety programs, and coordinating with vendors, construction teams, and operations to ensure systems meet design requirements and are ready for handover.

Competenze

• Requires a University Hire with 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
• Basic ability to read P&IDs, drawings, and equipment data sheets, or willingness to learn.
• Exposure to wastewater treatment or chemical handling systems is a plus.

Mansioni

• Assist in Commissioning Planning by preparing waste system commissioning plans and procedures.
• Support System Verification of waste equipment and piping with guidance from senior engineers.
• Participate in Commissioning Execution activities, including inspections, field walkdowns, and testing.
• Help assemble documentation such as System Turnover Packages and completion certificates.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors during equipment startups and field work.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance, following LOTO and JHA processes.
