Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an Electrical Commissioning and Startup Engineer for the New Albany, Ohio project. You will assist in planning, execution, and troubleshooting of high/medium/low voltage electrical systems, ensuring safety and on-schedule delivery of commissioning activities.

You will collaborate with engineering, construction, vendors, and operations to verify systems meet design requirements, generate turnover documentation, and support safety and regulatory compliance throughout

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in commissioning or startup of critical facilities is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and data sheets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute electrical commissioning plans.
• Review diagrams, submittals, and vendor documentation.
• Verify equipment installation and testing requirements.
• Coordinate system turnover from construction to commissioning.
• Maintain commissioning databases and turnover packages.
• Ensure safety and environmental standards during execution.
