Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning and Startup Engineer for a semiconductor plant project in New Albany, Ohio. You will plan, coordinate, lead, and execute commissioning, startup, and turnover activities for complex mechanical systems.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 8–14 years of experience in mission critical facilities. Part-time telework with at least three days in person weekly, hybrid work model, and strong leadership are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning and startup activities for complex mechanical systems.

• Review drawings, vendor documentation, and turnover packages for readiness.
• Mentor junior CSU engineers and ensure adherence to safety and project standards.
