Job summary

GFL Environmental is seeking a capable equipment operator to bale, load and move waste materials at our site. The role requires operating forklift, bobcat, backhoe, track hoe, and other gear with daily inspections and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required or obtainable.
• Ability to read and understand equipment gauges.
• English language proficiency (read, write, speak).
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to bale and load waste/materials into trailers.
• Perform daily inspections and maintenance on equipment.
• Grease and lubricate equipment; check fluids daily.
• Communicate with team via radio and follow supervisor instructions.
• Attend safety meetings and adhere to company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
