Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Associate Account Manager to proactively maintain and retain relationships with existing commercial and industrial customers in a defined territory. You will contact customers by outbound and inbound calls to retain business and expand penetration by selling the full suite of Republic Services products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of customer service experience.
• Experience responding to cancellations and ensuring customer retention.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and retain existing customers daily through proactive outreach.
• Know the company services, pricing and offers; present add‑on options to customers.
• Perform contractual re-signs and support pricing initiatives, using Salesforce to log activities.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager to review retention progress and key relationships.
