Job summary

Arcwood Environmental is seeking a Waste Scheduler to receive and coordinate waste pickup scheduling requests from customers, the Customer Experience team, and Arcwood personnel nationwide. You will serve as a liaison between Sales, Operations, and Logistics to ensure efficient coordination and timely service.

The role requires a strong focus on safety, accurate data entry, and collaboration across departments to resolve scheduling needs and support seamless waste collection operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field is preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant customer experience, project management or office experience is required.
• Previous experience within environmental waste or a related technical area is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times.
• Coordinates incoming truckloads based on plant processing capacity, transportation availability, and customer requirements.
• Schedules and coordinates shipments of waste to Arcwood facilities and other third-party disposal facilities.
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
