Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking a Helper to support drivers by loading and unloading containers and assisting with route completion. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and providing excellent customer service on residential and commercial routes.

The candidate should be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions, maintaining professional communication with customers and team members. A pre-employment drug screen may be required.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED and be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong relationship management, and commitment to customer service; able to work well in a team and maintain safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Loads and empties residential and/or commercial containers manually or mechanically.
• Manoeuvres containers at curbside, dockside, or carryout to complete service.
• Operates hoisting device to lift and empty bins into the truck hopper.
• Returns serviced bins to their original location with covers secured.
• Assists driver with backing maneuvers on route.
• Loads trash and recycling into a rear load truck in various weather conditions.
• Lifts 50 pounds consistently throughout the day.
• Maintains a safe working environment and works in a fast-paced industry.
• Communicates professionally with customers and employees.
• Participates in training and learning opportunities to support company goals.
