Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking a reliable Helper to assist drivers on residential and commercial routes, performing tasks from loading and unloading containers to ensuring safe, efficient service in all weather conditions.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, be eligible to work in the United States, and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, teamwork, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads residential and commercial containers.
• Maneuvers containers at curbside/dockside to complete service.
• Operates hoisting device to lift and empty bins into truck hopper.
• Ensure bins are placed back in original position with lids on.
• Assist driver with backing maneuvers on route.
• Load trash and recycling into rear load truck in varying weather.
• Lift 50 pounds constantly and maintain stamina for physical duties.
• Maintain a safe working environment and work in a fast-paced setting.
• Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Participate in training and company initiatives to support goals.
