Job summary

Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking a reliable Helper to support route operations and assist drivers in completing customer pickups with a strong emphasis on safety and service quality.

In this fast-paced, physical role, you will lift up to 50 pounds, load and unload containers, and help with backing and maneuvering routes while maintaining professional communication with customers and team members. Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and pass pre-employment testing,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs constantly and work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Load and empty containers into the truck manually or mechanically.
• Maneuver containers staged curbside or dockside to complete service.
• Operate hoisting device to lift and empty bins into the truck hopper.
• Return serviced bins to their original positions with covers on.
• Assist driver with backing maneuvers on route.
• Load trash and recycling into a rear-load truck in varying weather.
