Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment

Responsibilities

• Operate one or more vehicle types with both automatic and standard transmission and collect solid waste, yard waste and/or recyclables on a route.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and required reports daily.
• Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to supervisor promptly.
• Maintain clean vehicle interior and exterior.
• Manage assigned Helper(s) if applicable.
• Attend safety and branch meetings and perform other duties as required.
