Job summary

GFL is seeking a Front-End Driver to service multiple commercial and multi-family routes, transporting waste or recyclables to appropriate facilities. The role requires operating frontload trucks, performing inspections, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience or CDL school certificate.
Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per Company standards.
Ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment.

Responsibilities

Drive frontload or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect waste and recyclables.
Open container enclosures or gates to access cans and handle 3-4 yard cans.
Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle condition reports.
Interact courteously with customers and respond to requests while on route.
Maintain logs and route productivity sheets as required by law or policy.
Use maps and GPS to locate service addresses and back into spaces safely.
Follow safety standards and company rules on vehicle operation.
