Qualifications

• Must have valid Class B CDL
• DOT medical card or able to obtain before hire
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Must read and speak English well

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle in accordance with Lakeshore Waste Services safety and Life Critical Rules, OSHA and DOT requirements.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle and document checks.
• Report unsafe situations or service-related issues to Route Manager or Dispatch.
• Attend and participate in scheduled training and meetings as required.
• Work with Route Manager to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices.
• Notify Route Manager of incidents, accidents, injuries or property damage.
• Complete end of day documentation and checkout process.
• Position and return containers on customer property with lids securely replaced.
