Job summary

Lakeshore Recycling Systems is seeking a Commercial Driver in Michigan to operate heavy-duty trucks and provide waste pickup services. You will back up with precision, navigate congested routes, and ensure containers are dumped and the customer location is left clean and free of debris.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Must have a valid Class B CDL and a valid DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle in accordance with safety rules and DOT requirements.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and complete required documents.
• Report unsafe situations to Route Manager or Dispatch.
• Attend training as required by LRS and Route Manager.
• Improve route efficiencies with Route Manager and identify best practices.
• Position and return containers on customer sites, ensuring lids are replaced and driveways are clear.
