Job summary

Lakeshore Waste Services is hiring a Transfer Driver with a valid Class A CDL to operate heavy-duty trucks for waste and recycling pickups. You will move containers, respect safety rules, and ensure loads are secured and routes completed on time.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, communicating issues to Dispatch, and maintaining customer service standards while navigating traffic and urban streets. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid Class A CDL.
• DOT medical card or ability to obtain before hire.
• No DUI/OVI in last 5 years or 2 in last 10.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks with front or rear end load lift attachment.
• Deliver pickup service of containers filled with waste or recyclables.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper load securement.
• Complete end-of-day documentation and tickets.
