Job summary

Lakeshore Recycling Systems is seeking a Residential Driver to operate a collection truck on local routes, safely collecting waste and recyclables and ensuring courteous customer service. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle readiness throughout daily duties.

Ideal candidates have a High school diploma or equivalent, a valid CDL Class B with air brake endorsement, and at least 1 year of commercial driving experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class B with air brake endorsement required.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential collection truck safely and efficiently.
• Collect waste and recyclables from residential customers on assigned routes.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Communicate with dispatch and route supervisors regarding issues or delays.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle.
• Follow all safety guidelines and DOT regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns when necessary.
