Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Pup Truck Driver to safely and courteously collect waste on assigned routes, service curbside and backdoor customers, and transport waste for disposal.

The role emphasizes safety, reliable routing, and professional interaction with customers on every stop. Responsibilities include operating the Pup truck, performing pre/post trip inspections, logging route sheets, and reporting any vehicle issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Possess valid Non-Commercial Driver’s License (Class C).
• One year of industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload collected waste at disposal locations or into rear load trucks.
• Operate truck and equipment while following prescribed techniques.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and reports.
• Communicate mechanical problems to supervisor promptly.
• Maintain route quality and safety standards.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE at all times.
• Maintain clean vehicle and regularly update records.
