Job summary

GFL Industries is seeking a Residential Driver to provide safe, efficient waste removal on curbside and backdoor routes. The role involves operating fully automated trucks, completing inspections, and maintaining accurate service records.

The ideal candidate has a valid CDL, at least two years of commercial driving experience, and a strong focus on safety and customer service in a fast-paced environment. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Possess valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum two (2) years of commercial driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Must be able to meet safety sensitive functions according to Company standards.
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate an automated side loading truck to collect solid waste on specified routes.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reports.
• Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to supervisor.
• Maintain route quality standards as predetermined by management.
• Follow safety rules, cover compliance with regulations and company policy.
• Maintain clean vehicle and accurate records of services performed.
