Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have valid NC driver’s license.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental health or related field with some administrative experience.
• SWANA certification within 1 year from hire date.
• Excellent public relations, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee waste reduction programs and recycling initiatives.
• Coordinate training and supervise Environmental Services staff.
• Ensure ordinance compliance related to illegal dumping and waste management.
• Coordinate grants and track program performance and reporting.
• Manage outreach, marketing, and community engagement for waste reduction.
