Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Rear Load Driver (Non-CDL) to service trash and recycling routes in the Morehead, KY area. You will operate residential routes, load and unload, and ensure safe collection of materials for disposal or recycling.

This full-time role requires good driving skills, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and flexibility for nights and weekends. A valid DOT Medical Card and legal work status in the United States are required.

Qualifications

Ability to read and understand a map.
Good written and verbal communication with customers.
Excellent truck driving/maneuvering skills.
Ability to drive while pulling a trailer.
Must read and speak English well for safety training and directions.

Responsibilities

Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers safely and compliantly.
Routinely enter/exit the truck approximately 300-600 times per day.
Pull or push containers from enclosures or inside buildings as needed.
Replace receptacles neatly at curb or designated area.
Clean up waste spills and maintain route logs.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete logs.
Interact professionally with customers and provide excellent service.
Maintain cleanliness of the truck and operate other trucks as needed.
