Job summary

Rumpke is hiring a Residential Rear Load Driver (Non-CDL) in Kentucky to serve customers with waste and recycling collection on scheduled routes. You will operate various trucks, perform safety checks, and maintain accurate logs while providing professional customer service.

The position requires safe driving, the ability to read maps, and endurance to handle outdoor work in changing weather. A valid DOT medical card, minimum age 19, and clean driving history are required; night and weekend

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map.
• Enter/exit the truck 300–500 times per day.
• Excellent truck driving/maneuvering skills.
• General knowledge of truck mechanics.
• Good written and verbal communication with customers.
• Must read and speak English well enough to understand safety training.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal safely at customers.
• Enter/exit the truck 300–500 times daily.
• Load/unload containers from curb or enclosures.
• Maintain route and driver logs.
• Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Interact professionally with customers to deliver service.
• Clean truck cab and packer blade after routes.
• Travel between offices as required.
