Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is hiring for a Residential Rear Load Driver in Kentucky. You will service customers with waste and recycling collection, operating various truck types on mixed routes, including nights and weekends as needed.

The role emphasizes safe driving, adherence to routes, and excellent customer service, with a focus on maintaining logs, pre/post inspections, and professional interaction with customers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand a map
• Ability to enter/exit the truck 300–500 times per day
• Excellent truck driving/maneuvering skills
• General knowledge of truck mechanics

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services safely and compliant, loading containers into truck
• Routinely enter/exit the truck 300–500 times daily on route
• Move containers from enclosures or inside buildings when needed
• Replace receptacles at curb or designated area neatly
• Clean up waste spills and maintain truck cleanliness
• Maintain and update route and driver logs
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and logs
• Interact professionally with customers to provide great service
• Deliver containers as required
• Other duties as assigned
