Job summary

Rumpke is seeking a Residential Rear Load Driver in Kentucky to service customers with waste/recycling collection. You will operate various trucks, navigate routes, and maintain logs while delivering reliable, safe service to communities.

The role emphasizes safety, professional customer interactions, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed. A valid Class B CDL and DOT medical card are required, with opportunities for competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card.
• Strong map-reading and driving skills.
• Excellent communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers, in a safe and compliant way, by emptying trash/recycling containers into truck and hauling to disposal site.
• Routinely enter/exit the truck approximately 300-500 times per day, depending on the assigned route.
• May be required to pull or push containers from enclosures or inside buildings.
• Replace trash/recycling receptacles neatly at the curb or designated area.
• Clean up waste spills and overflows.
• Maintain and update route & driver log sheets.
• Conduct pre-trip/post trip inspections and complete logs.
• Professionally interact with internal and external customers, providing excellent customer service.
• Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body and ensure cleanliness of truck cab.
• Deliver trash or recycling containers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned
