Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Class A CDL driver to provide reliable waste and recycling collection services in the Louisville, KY area. You will operate various trucks, follow routes, and ensure safe, compliant handling of loads while maintaining accurate logs and safety records.

The role requires 1–2 years of CDL driving, physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and ability to work nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Ability to safely operate various truck types and routes.
• Excellent communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services safely and efficiently.
• Operate trucks and complete assigned routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain logs.
• Interact professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Assist with loading/unloading and container placements as needed.
