Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a CDL Utility Driver in the Louisville area to service customers and haul waste or recycling to disposal sites. You will operate various trucks, deliver containers, and provide safe, reliable service while maintaining logs.

Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, route updates, and professional communication with customers. A valid Class A CDL, DOT Medical Card, and willingness to work nights/weekends are required.

Qualifications

• CDL with valid Class A license and DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 1-2 years CDL truck driving experience.
• Ability to read a map and navigate service routes.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers safely and compliantly.
• Operate various trucks and complete routes; replace/ deliver containers.
• Enter/exit the truck up to 300-500 times per day as required.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete logs.
• Maintain and update route and driver log sheets.
• Interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
