Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Waste Process Technician I for the 3rd shift (10pm - 6:30am). This entry level role safely performs off-loading, QA/QC of waste streams, sampling, and processing through shredding operations and solidification steps.

The candidate should have a high school diploma and basic mechanical understanding of processing equipment. Expect to operate forklifts, cranes, and other power tools, pass a respirator fit test, and maintain attention to detail in a physically demanding,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• GED Works program funded by Reworld for employees.
• 1+ year of experience preferred.
• Must pass respirator fit test.

Responsibilities

• Understand basic facility permit requirements and safety/compliance duties.
• Operate equipment including pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts per policies and OSHA requirements.
• Safely operate mobile equipment within facility boundaries.
• Unload inbound packages, liquid trucks, and containers.
• Process inbound material using facility and mobile equipment.
• QA/QC and lab analysis for waste receiving and shipping.
• Complete facility paperwork for regulatory and safety records.
• General cleaning of facility and grounds.
